This week marks the beginning of producing for the 2012 Nissan NV, their first major commercial van for US markets.

Produced at the Nissan assembly plant in Canton, Miss., the NV is a rear drive "body-on-frame" construction, which is how most trucks are built today. NV is scheduled to hit the lots in the spring at a base price at $25,570.

Nissan has put their hand in a market that they have never tried to tackle before, the commercial van.  Nissan hopes to corner the market for construction workers, electricians and delivery people. Now, the official specifications and pricing options have been announced. The all new Nissan NV will start at $24,590 and span upwards of $32,190.
